Getting a Chance

Access to a new opportunity helped me take a step I couldn’t take on my own.

A chance I was given

For a long time, I was doing what I could with what I had. I was working hard, but certain opportunities felt out of reach simply because I didn’t know how to access them.

Then a door opened. It wasn’t something I had planned for, and it wasn’t guaranteed. It was simply a chance to step into a new space and see what might be possible if I tried.

That access changed my perspective. Being in the room mattered. Seeing how things worked up close helped me understand what I could build and where I could go next. What once felt distant started to feel achievable.

I think about how much difference access can make. Sometimes it is not about talent or effort, but about being given the chance to begin. That opportunity moved my starting line forward and reminded me how powerful it can be to open doors for others whenever possible.
