There was a time when I was moving forward without really knowing where I was headed. I was doing the work, but I didn’t yet understand my strengths or what I could build with them.
My mentor stepped in during that season. Not by giving me all the answers, but by asking the right questions, offering honest feedback, and showing me what was possible. They helped me recognize skills I hadn’t fully named yet and encouraged me to trust them.
That guidance changed how I approached my own path. I began to move with more confidence and intention, willing to take steps I might have hesitated on before. What once felt uncertain started to feel open.
I carry that experience with me now. The clarity and confidence I gained continue to shape the choices I make, and they remind me of the importance of showing up for others in the same way. Sometimes, running a lap means helping someone else see what they’re capable of and giving them the space to step into it.
